Project description
City Measured Survey carries out a point cloud survey to North Point Building. The client recently won the property and required a measured building survey for the purpose of adding new cladding to the building. As-built 2D drawings were required for the records and documentation, precisely complete external elevations of all faces of the building. We required access to the balcony on the 9th floor and the external area of the building.
Our experienced surveyors completed 1 day on-site using 2 Leica RTC scanners. Using advanced 3d laser scanning technology allows us to capture the data efficiently and register scans in real-time automatically, recording positions in the field from station to station. We produced the as-built 2D CAD drawings in 2 days at scale 1:50 in dwg and pdf.
